You might think that your family home is not a risky setting for eye injuries. However, medical statistics says that each year, almost half of all eye injuries occur in and around the home, and the numbers are increasing each year.
That is why protective eyewear is recommended for specific work or task situations depending upon the nature extent of the hazard and personal vision needs. At home, it is recommended to have at least a pair of safety glasses or goggles for use on activities that may put your eyes at risk of injuries such as performing home repairs or maintenance.
